The Adventures of Tracks and Cookout was inspired when the owner of Lockhaven Ranch found his dog and pig had wandered off the property and were walking together alongside a road in his neighborhood. Hence the inspiration for a series of childrens books. It was determined that each book should pertain issues which impact the lives of children involving morals they can discuss. Cultural dialogue or Blenglish (cultural blends of English) is a very prevalent staple in our American communities which adds humor and diversity to each character. The book also has a grammar guide which serves as a resource for teachers and students to become interactive with correcting grammatical errors used in dialogue everyday. There is a moral peer review section, role play activities, a words glossary and a bio of each animal depicted throughout the story and whom lives on the ranch.
Many of the pages have an optional “Paint Me” feature for children to finger paint the pages and create their own custom version of the book.
Additional features: Professional voice over, table of contents control to navigate easily through the book and an audio on/off control.
